<Frequently Asked Questions>

Q: So, what's this comic all about?
A: Basically any events or thoughts I feel like expressing through a comic.

Q: Seems a little bit vain to have yourself in a comic strip.
A: Not much of a question, but yes. We all have an ego, and this is how I express it.

Q: Am I suppose to know Nikki or Rae?
A: For those who haven't caught on, many of the characters are based on real people in my life who don't mind being in my comic. However, there are several characters from my imagination. Since I don't get to spend as much time with my friends I turn to my imaginary friends for material. I don't have any problems, I swear!

Q: What materials do you use to make this comic?
A: Everything is done in Photoshop CS4 using my HP Tablet Notebook, HP Pavilion tx 2000.

Q: Can I be in your webcomic?
A: Chances are low.

Q: What is the most difficult part in making this webcomic?
A: Making a good joke and trying to depict it. Although I have infinite possibilities with photoshop, my skill has only come so far and I still feel frustrated when I see myself trying the same poses over and over again. And although my drawing skills are good, it can't make up for a dry joke (which appears to be most of my comic). I try to make each comic funny, which at times can be difficult because I'm not really all that funny. Funny things just tend to happen to me...

Q: How did you acquire your art skills?
A: Years of practice, literally. I've always doodled since I was a kid, but became more seriously into drawing in my freshman year of high school. I took the first drawing class at my high school my sophomore year, where at the time I had worked on a lot of watercolors (a lot of my very old work can be found here. Then I took a painting class my junior year, followed by the advanced drawing class my senior year. Actually, I had moved away for a couple months that year, and when I came by, one of my classmates told me that by coming back I had raised the standards. My freshman year of college I took figure drawing and beginning painting. I am currently in another beginning drawing class to hone my skills, and also because a lot of other art classes require for you to take this class. I'm no where near where I want to be, but I am getting there. And if you look at my work, you'll see a progression, which is what I'm trying to do. Also, I try to practice as much as I can. I usually try to bring a sketch book with me where ever I go. Alas, I could get even better if being an artist was my career goal, but it's not. So, I don't get to work on art as much as I want to since I need to focus more on completing my schooling.

Q: Can I make a guest comic, or fanart?
A: Of course! The best form of flattery is imitation! Just please don't claim the characters or story as your own. I'll post it on this site. You can either send it to me via email or in the forums.
